  1. come and ride in Greyton:) www.greytonmtb.co.za
  2. I read quite a bit about the Cairbulls on overseas forums...they are generally untested and I would not gamble on a helmet...
  3. if you want decent protection I would stay away from the Chinese Cairbulls in the above link...
  4. it’s the pins a few postings back on this thread… I used the 5.5
  5. https://www.takealot.com/waterproof-speedometer-mechanical-black-cycle-computer-odometer-/PLID95888223
  6. yes , order from RS Electronics and do some micro soldering… not easy but doable… there is a thread on this forum about it
  7. Enduro...it's good
  8. Ridewill in Italy:)
  9. there is no substitute for wider and bigger volume gravel tyres...putting on the 50mm Cinturato Ms soon:)
  10. I have both KS Lev droppers and an E-Thirteen Vario dropper and I can see the Vario has a lot more adjustment...
  11. very difficult to see if another dropper will give you more adjustment range without trying one
  12. new saddle is probably the cheapest and best method… if you need to angle that saddle down more to make it comfortable it’s not the right saddle
  13. looks like you’re on the limit… so it’s either a new dropper with more adjustment or a new bike😉
  14. sounds very odd as Mamil said...post some pics since there is plenty of adj. range on the KS Levs
  15. the M is not a compound but the tread pattern, running 45s on my Topstone and will fit 50s soon:) a good combo is the M in front and the H behind...but all quite hard to find locally so ordered from Merlin or Ridewill
  16. 5000 km on Pirelli Cinturato M , still another 1000km at least to go, they have never let me down in all sorts of conditions and they roll fast on gravel too…
  17. unless you’re cadence sensitive 2x is totally unnecessary…
  18. those mechanical brakes are pretty bad, I have a few friends here in Greyton who have that bike and they struggle to brake from the hoods on more technical gravel the Avalanche is better looking and has carbon integrated bars/stem and seatpost… it would be my choice for 30k
  19. https://www.greytonmtb.co.za we have some truly amazing gravel rides here in Greyton...
  20. it looks really interesting and pretty good looking too...I am just not sure about the components and groupset since they are all Chinese brands which have recently hit the market...looking forward to some reviews
