I saw that video of the spinning wheel, thought it looked weird and posted it here. Subsequently I’ve seen other videos showing him putting the chain back on etc. And someone mentioned the bike had been checked after the stage. So all good. I reacted to the guy that made out I was stupid, the one insinuating I’d just started cycling and your first contribution to the effect I’d been ‘schooled’. Who’s doing the attacking? Don’t answer that, as I said yesterday - over and out.

These guys will be coughing dust for weeks.

The speeds they ride these days there's just too many riders. Reckon they should reduce number of teams.

It was said the rider spun the cranks (and hence the back wheel) to get the chain back on. I questioned then why the cranks were going backwards. Over and out.

10 watts is 10 watts... Probably no motor but that video is weird. It raises the question with me.

The crank goes from spinning backwards to spinning forwards with the back wheel off the ground. If he had spun the cranks to get the chain on why is the crank originally spinning backwards? And to my eyes the back wheel accelerates just before it touches the ground again. ( I apologise if I'm coming across dof to you but I'm telling it as I see it)

Go to the twitter link and have a look at the slo-mo halfway down the page. His hand is nowhere near the crank. And the rear wheel accelerates when lifted off the ground.

There must also be huge pressure on Sky now so I think they're deflecting. For me there's a big question mark over them, for others that's not so and that's cool. I'm still going to enjoy the Tour but there are no Sky riders in my Fantasy team.

Go the Villans! I reckon Sky released those details to give the impression they are doing 'stuff' no one else is. I don't know what the other big teams are doing but if they're not doing something similar to what's in the article I'd be seriously surprised.
