  2. I own more plots on boulders than I can afford, so have avoided this little drop off going over the wooden bridge for a while, I finally road it today.. ๐ŸŽ‰
  3. Missing link, again. Beautiful day for it.
  4. The missing link on Sunday, was one of those days.
  5. It is pretty rocky, but an experience to ride. I don't think it will ever be an easy ride to do, but the views more than make up for it. We enterered at Theresa Avenue and exited at the battery, the gate is open now, it seems permanently.
  6. Went for a burn around the mountain on the missing link trail.
  7. Which every way you go, also keep an eye out for some hydraulic disc brakes to put on if it does not come with them, it can help reduce weight as well. We have a set from one of my bike upgrades that has been moved three times now, just moved onto my daughters Momsen JSL40, makes a massive difference to their confidence having brakes they can trust and use with ease.
  8. Well done. Thatโ€™s a monster effort. Couldnโ€™t believe my eyes when I saw you upload that on strava.
  9. Just above Horns up in a Kenton
  10. Did the silvermine loop for freedom day, the early start meant we caught the sunrise from above the dam. Magic morning out there.
  11. Hi, Newlands forest is definitely open, got direct confirmation from SANparks: โ€œThe Newlands forest section of the mountain bike track is open for visitors. The area closed is clearly marked and still remains closed from the fringes of Newlands forest towards GSE and Tafelberg Rd, Deer Park area. Please visit our facebook page for updates.โ€

  13. Itโ€™s called โ€œthe missing linkโ€ on strava... or join Table mountain bikers
  14. Finally got to ride this today, thank you Table Mountain Bikers!!
  15. Beautiful morning at the blockhouse.
  16. The way his arm broke so easily reminds me of the very unfortunate situation Mfuneko Ngam faced with stress fractures in his legs when he started his international cricket career.
  17. I went and raided the LBS for 4 sets of brake pads and I got a set of rotors for just incase.. I think it is going to be a mud bath out there tomorrow. Good luck to everyone
  18. It was windy on our way up as well, we went in at 8. Vasbyt was interesting.
  19. Tokai at sunrise... wind tunnel testing. Photo Credit @jonminster
  20. Garmin to strava is automatic, not sure about the link from strava to cyclemeter, but if that is also automatic then itโ€™s a no brainer and saves you from submitting it three times.
  21. We took advantage of a windless morning to hit the Blockhouse and then come down the single track..
  22. Hoping the momsen warranty team are out there watching this thread.. My bike has been at an approved Momsen dealership in Cape Town since last thursday.. all i need is the momsen rep to go and take a look, agree the frame is cracked and give me a nice new 2018 Momsen Vipa frame..
  23. I am currently waiting to see how this will pan out for me.. I got a crack in my frame on the top tube where the rear suspension attaches to the top tube.. had to drop the bike off at an official Momsen dealership and waiting for Momsen to decide what happens next.. nervously eyeing out the impending cycle tour and wondering if I will need to rent a bike to do the race... carbon fibre framed Momsen vipa which is about 18 months old... so in theory it should be a painless experience...
  24. Where can I find the full results for stage 1, interested to see how people I know that came outside the top 5 performed? #workinclassheroes
