How is it that riders in the lead bunch did 102km, while others did 117. Surely the officials and lead guys returning warned other riders that a mistake had been made as they passed them.

Agree scrub with camelback brush and diluted Jik, leave overnight then rinse out with plain water next day.

With a bigger bag i can always fit in a compact crank to deal with bumps

I usually ride with a saddlebag containing 2 tubes, 2 bombs, tyre levers, quick link, small set of allen keys and presta/schraeder valve adaptor which is handy for numerous reasons. Might weigh a bit but then i'm not renown for emptying my waterbotte to save weight in any sprint.

Nice twist BigH, but your memory's a bit short, as i recall it you were very vocal and slammed Matt on the site when he first advertised there.

Dont see a problem and dont think admin would mind. Admin started the Hub by "ambushing" previous chat forums such as Supercycling.

Not overly impressed with larsen TT, the sidewalls slice easily when hitting rocks, i find the Xmarks better.

Shop around, i've sometimes got items cheaper at LBS than CWC by telling the LBS owner i can get it cheaper there.

IMO if you enter the long route but change your mind and start and ride the shorter route its OK, but if you start with the longer route then change your mind and do the shorter one then either remove your chip or tell the orgs at the finish. scotty2009-08-04 05:03:01

Quite happy to say i had no need to test their service out, nothing went wrong with mine, even survived a T bone.

Bikes like these are stiill the best, no cr@p with derailers, finnicky brakes etc.

Very nice I'm interested as well, more so if there is a helmet version.
