  1. Energiser bunny come to mind
  2. The "shoot to kill" rant by the politicians and police top brass has come back to bite them, weekend saw them kill a women and injure a man. Appears the Flying squad mistook the vehicle the woman and passengers were driving, for a hijacked one and let rip as the tazz was slowing down. Of course the policians and top brass refuse to comment now. On discovering their error the flying squad guys that shot at them raced away. The hijacked car was later found 500m away.
  3. Major service on a road bike at my LBS would include minor service plus truing/servicing wheel hub's, BB, and head set and include labour but pay for parts on any item needing replacement. scotty2009-10-12 00:45:43
  4. I dont care if Nigela does not ride a bike
  5. What is strange is no mention was made on the HUB, but then i suppose there are more important non cycling issues to discuss. I got numerous reminders from my club.
  6. I've seen how energetic kid's are after drinking their kiddies juice, imo its a performance enhancer and should banned.
  7. Will give tommorow a miss, i'm still recovering with bruised ribs from last week and waiting for a replacement derailer to arrive.
  8. with lipstick and eyeliner ? Yes, she can use some of his.

  10. Then he will have a flat nose and lose some of his boyish looks.
  11. Depends, if she's hitting him with a frying pan he's big and strong enough to take it away from her. If she's hitting him with her fist, well he can just laugh at her which might cause her to become more angry and pick up the frying pan which is where the frying pan defense comes into play. scotty2009-10-09 01:10:13
  12. Impey cycles in Bedfordview shopping centre, good prices and they know their stuff.
  13. You're tougher than me, this happened to me last year and i was out of action for quite a while.
  14. Eastons no doubt, strong and reliable and get very good reviews on cycle forums.
  15. Congrats and as far as source goes i have both Specialized and Merida
  16. I have a bike with disk and one with V, i find a good set of V's brakes is more than adequate, as the Yellow Saddle man would agree. The only downside is the brake clogging as mentioned which can wear your V pads out quite quickly (as i experienced this last weekend ), but to replace is no where near as expensive as disk replacement costs and overall maintenance is far easier.
  17. Point a link to Avnic.
  18. Porky i have had very good service as well from Avnic , but the point remains that Avnic is aware of a problem on older Garmin 305's but claim not to as this would result in a huge cost to them for repair/replacement costs. scotty2009-10-06 04:28:32
  19. Totaly agree, when i took my 305 unit in last month due to switch off problems garmins reaction was they were not aware the problem was widespread and acted like mine was the first, total BS imo. If its a design fault they should fix/replace at their cost.
  20. Nope, you lost me.
  21. Unless it rains i should be there.
  22. Cool hope i have a similiar experience, i'm taking my 305 in again next week for random switch off problem.
  23. Response would be :- Size and pic of bike preferably on a couch.
