I'm watching a different TDF, the one on DSTV channel 5.

The course designers at Walkerville did not have much lee way regards a route as a lot of track went through pvt land. Here riders can also play a big part by sticking to the track and not littering, leading to farmers being reluctant to agree next time. I'm thankful that there are such events local, as i cannot do the more glamour ones further away.

My garmin packed up early in the race so i have no idea of accuracy but the manual timing seems a bit of a let down however it would also have driven the cost of entries up. I was fortunate in that there was no one near the front or back of me when i came in so i got their full attention.

How do we know it is not LA's plot to attack and no one from the team or the team car can tell him what to do??? Just a thought. Gotta love conspiracy theories

Found yesterday racing exciting particulary with the main bunch bearing down on them, never thought i'd be supporting a frenchman but was shouting for Fedrigo and Pellizotti to stay clear after working so hard and Fedrigo to win.

Thumbs up for my LBS, I've been battling to get my front derailer shifting correctly so i took it to the LBS on Tues morn to look at and do a minor service while they at it, when i got it back it tues afternoon i took it for a spin and found under certain conditions the chain would drop between the 2 blades so i took it back, wed the LBS told me they escalated the problem to shimano, Thurs i went to fetch the bike and they had replaced the FAS blades as recommended by Shimano with another set of FAS blades (albeit 2nd hand ones), cost for blades NIL only paid for minor service and apology for my hassles.

I'm sure i will intern, my dealings thus far have been good.

Must be rent a crowd bussed in to boost his ego.

My 305 is cutting out intermittently, looks like battery problems so Avnic can expect a visit from me.
