I had a similar problem in December riding down a mutha of a hill (after climbing it - 4 km at 14%). Coming down at around 70 km/h I had no reading on my Delphi. My friend who was following me told me the speed later. I think I know what it is, but have not had the chance to get that sort of speed up again. Your speed sensor probably faces toward the front of your fork. This will, if the cable ties are not tight enough, cause the transmitter unit to move away from the magnet. If you have a 3 mm gap, it only has to move another 2 or 3 mm for "contact" to be broken. I moved mine around to the back of the front fork and so far so good. I have not ridden that fast again (my valley is not really a valley, more like a hollow). I hope this helps.

Hey Anton, where in Boksburg? There are a group of guys in the Sunward area that ride on weekends, so I am sure there must be some weekday riders as well. If you are near Benoni, try the Atlas road out towards Bonaero Park - wiiiiiide shoulder and dual lane keeping cars away from you.
