  1. Here is some good old "Boere Raad" given to me by a former colleague: 1) Take a box of Lion Matches to the toilet with you. 2) Get comfortable on the toilet after removing clothing. 3) Light a match 4) CAREFULLY burn the offending 'roid. This does hurt a bit. 5) The next time a 'roid "rears its head", just shake the box of Lion matches - the mere sound will make it will jump back in by itself. Use it, don't use it.Gasping2010-01-15 01:15:38

  3. "Consol" - The Consolidated Glass company' date=' manufacturers of the screw top bottles most grandmothers use for jams etc. I think you mean console?? [/quote'] Sounds like you might need some consoling?
  4. I know of a couple of guys who will help you with that.
  5. I have nothing constructive to add here, so I will shut the hell up and not be a pain in the ass. Oops.....too late! Good luck mate. I suffered with these things about 18 years ago and one tablet (orally) once and it sorted me out. It was called Varemoid but I believe it is now off the market.
  6. Thank you H!xly. On the "injuries doesn't match their kit" point, if the road rash is sever enough, the colour should run into the lyrca.
  7. Sorry for that. I thought that yesterday's question would only be answered today, and therefore the second question would in fact be today's question. I did however take liberty with sneaking in the third one. So here goes: I have three (3) questions for this thread. (1) How many of these injuries are road related and how many are MTB related? (2) How is Ricky Bobby doing? (3) What happened to the man?

  9. Eeeewwww! Dude. There are kids on this forum. Sorry. I thought you were offline.
  10. Just because you have a degree does not mean you are educated. I know of a few degreed professionals who are idiots.
  11. I had my Blackburn Delphi sensor facing forward. On a downhill run it "disengaged" from the spoke magnet and I lost my speed and distance for that portion of the ride. It seems that the sensor moved with the wind (my riding mate told me we were at 77 km/h) and the gap between the sensor and the magnet was more than 5 mm. Moved it to the back of the fork and it seems to be better.
  12. Here's my question for the day - how many of these injuries are road related and how many are MTB related? It would seem that the dirty side has more of these mishaps. Anecdotal evidence at best, but let's see. How is Ricky Bobby doing? What happened to the man?
  13. Ten lashes to the chest with a hot chain - edge on!
  14. Speaking of which, has anyone heard about how Slave is doing? Gasping2010-01-11 05:36:08

  16. I did a whole Power point for my Daughter's 21st in 2008. It started with the card on top of her incubator, to a baby photo and then followed by one of her topless in the bath. The young guys in the audience went a bit bossies at the title, but then they saw it was when she was about 2 weeks old. I got a good laugh from that one. It had photos of her through the years in primary school, high school and varsity. It went down a treat with everyone including her.
  17. Swissvan, I was not insulted by the clown comment in the least. As I said, I appreciate the recognition. Love some Lindt - the chocolate kind not the blue fuzzy navel stuff. Can I PM you my delivery details?
  18. I think the difference is that in bonking you suffer due to nutritional factors whereas in hitting the wall you suffer due to a steering/braking problem. - Well said! Uh uh.. You clowns characters obviously never ran any long distances in your sporting careers. Long distance running is not my game. Sporting Career? Mine is still like Julius' school career. Clown? Why thank you for the recognition Sir. Lindt anyone?Gasping2010-01-07 06:29:02

  20. Being overhydrated is more serious than underhydrated. Apparently you drown faster than you die of thirst - could this be a clue? ha ha , Gasping i like your thinking. Careful now, people will start picking on you.
