  1. Use stans. Never had issues with it.
  2. This happened to me about 6 months ago. Clean out the tyre put more sealent in and bomb it. Should get it to catch and then pump with normal pump. You will find thatit looses some air over a few rides but then after some rides and pumping it sealed it self perfectly.
  3. thanks guys, the bike is loaded and Im coming through for the MOO experience. I'm bring my camping light and hopefully it will suffice. Please do bring the extra one, so I can atleast enjoy the single track Myself and a mate are coming, will be there ready at 6 :46
  4. hi Guys, A friend and I would like to join tomorrow night. (If we can) Where, what time, how far, how fit do you need to be and do you need a light? If we need a light, which one. So we can get them tomorrow and join? Thanks
  5. Ill take the forerunner mount, just post a pic of it. Want to make sure its the one Im thinking of?
  6. My problem with Cycle lab: I havent had good experiences there! I think the techs are arrogant and the general vibe there is what the F&^GH are you doing here. I road my Mountian bike on a Saturday and was just playing around in the MTN park, I fel and buckled my wheel badly! So I came to work and contacted cycle lab, they said they couldnt help me because they where to busy! It was urgent because I was riding a race the following day!I begged and asked if they could just have a look and see if it can be a quick fix! the person whom I spoke with said they would contact meback! I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE CALL! they have a great facility, but it doesnt help if your customer service is up to CR#! Unfortunelty Im not one of the lucky few to have spare wheels, so that evening I went on to you tube and searched how to fix a buckled wheel, i grabbed pliers and sat for 2 hours trying to sort out the buckled wheel! Didnt get it 100%, but I could ride! So now I associate this bad experience with them!
  7. What should the going price be? Simple service , sort out buckled wheel and creek while cycling
  8. Hi guys, so my anthem is due for a service and I need to get rid of the creeking sound when riding. My question is can you recommend any stores close to the fourways area. Not taking it to cycle lab.
  9. Im sitting with the combination of maxxis monorail in front and cross marx at the back, I have ridden them all the way to 3 bar and still a nice tyre combination. When I bought my Anthem, it came with standard crossmarx in the front and back the front felt very lose, did not feel comfortable at all.... So I changed it up to tubeless with the combination describe as above.!! Much better... Also changed brake levers around, since I ride a bike every day
  10. If you like the crossmarks on the front then try monorail when you need to change!!! Confidence is great and you can really push the tyre in corners, especially if you brave enough to ride it at about 1.5 bar I LOVE MTB Why am I at work!
  11. How are you guys finding the Lust Crossmarx front? Through mine away after a week and converted to monorail... Much better handling? Riding a Anttem X2, dual Running Lust monorail front - 1.9 Running Lust crossmarx back at 2.2
  12. Im sitting at about 85 kg and it was only by mistake that my tyre ran that low... It is a differnet style of riding, but you can feel a lot of grib, but you do pedal harder... Rolling speed isnt the best the best is turns and short steep hills. This tyre pressure combination was awesome on the teak course! GIVE IT A GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ran tubes in my bike the first time and ran tyre pressure as low as 2 bar... ended up doing a technical section at MTN park , went around a bend, tyre folded and my bicyce steering washed out!! 1 X buckled wheel....
  13. I was there on Sunday, what time did you ride?
  14. Hi guys, So I took delivery of my indoor trainer last night from Tabasco, and set it up when I got home. Started pedalling... After about 30 min I started to struggle to stay on the bike.. Does anybody have ideas or tricks they use to help forget about time and get a good workout out of it?
  15. Awesome charity ride!! Also taking part in the movember stash event, just got some guys here at work to contribute!!! Took part last year in the double and I really enjoyed it! Im testing fate this year, Im watching 30 seconds to mars, cycling the MTB, hopefully relaxing and then the road cycle the following day! I have only ridden offroad this year, did the same last year and clocked in a 3:25 on the road and a 3 on the MTB. Feeling stronger so lets hope
  16. Hey guys, Whos taking part in both the 94.7 mountain bike and road challenge? Hows it going and do you train more on the mountain bike or road bike?
  17. Good Monring, So I thought I would give you an updae of my first experience with tubeless tyre fixing. Friday night I took some sealant managed to get some in, bombed the tyre and all sorted SO I pumped the tyre to 3 bar, just to see if it held its pressure, went out came back slept and in the morning. Tyre had dropped down to 1.5 bar So I pumped the bad boy up again, went for a cycle, could feel tyre was losing pressure, but I road it out... Did you know you can ride a tubeless as low as 1.5 bar on the back ( I was amazed) Anyway, got home pumped the tyre back up to 3 bar, left it for the night and sunday morning checked it before my ride.. AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE!!!! Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it. TUBELESS IS PRETTY COOL!!!
  18. Cool, going to buy some sealant now and try it again. I worked out that my nozzle which my bombs connect to can actually screw on pretty well on the garage pump.. So Tonight Ill be giving that a go:) Thanks for the input I will let you know of the result!
  19. Appreciate the input, running UST tyres on normal rims... Looks like alot of sealant came out.... Where can i get the converter? Should i go buy sealant and try and just force it?
  20. on the sides.... hole looks pretty sealed
  21. handheld pump, stopped at the petrol station but I could not get the pump on Tried now with my foot pump and it wont pump up!!!!
  22. Hi guys, So I went for a ride this afternoon and i experienced my first puncture with tubeless tyre s.. I got a nail in my back tyre... So i pulled it out lost some air and put the plug in, tried to pump the tyre back up and I couldn't IS there a trick to this? help!!!!

  25. Hi Fellow riders, I would just like to say thank you to Northern Farm team for putting in the efforts of maintining and sorting out the security at Norhtern Farms. If I compare to last year this time, there has been huge changes in the trails offered. We decided to go through yesterday morning and we had a blast of a time, single tracks are well cut and challening. The presence of secutrity is there and what was nice is that the parking lot was full... Which means everyone likes the changes. Once again this is just a post to say thank you and well done a fantatic Northern Farm ouride!
