No Hydrolics when doing a DH ...

Yup... i was in the other 5% region... and you only once in you life walk 25km in Carbon MTB shoes.

Remeber... plugs dont always work for snakebites... Had a snakebite that was almost 2 CM long... was stuck in the felt 25km from my car and had to walk back. Pluging it would not have worked and a patch should have but didnt work either. Hence even now with tubeless, I still ride with a spare inner tube.

Using a small compact pump may take you ages but it's good for the biceps [/quote'] I have had this problem often, the silicon dries around the moving part of the valve and it interferes with the whole system, I take the cores out everytime I put in new sealent, take a sharp object and pick out all the dry crap from the core. And don't forget to put a bit of vaseline on that valve core!!! You should see the wifes'e eyes everytime I grab the pot of Vaseline.......just to go lube a valve core!! Interesting fact... will try it out sometime but have never had that problem Anything else I can use? KY? I dont even have vaseline in the house... scarred of people like you ;O)

I have Maxxis CrossMark front and LArsens at the back ... good all rounder and great for practice and race. And Specialized Storm Pro's with Maxxis High Rollers at the back during races. On the DH Maxxis Ignitor 2.3 and Minion DHF UST 2.35 Hope it help, but at the end of the day it is a preference of you own. what you feel comfortable and what you believe will give you the edge. Also purpose you wont take muds into the kalahari

Yes ... just do it. I've done the conversion and i've only had a problem with a burp here and there
