  1. Not trying to be in.
  2. Do the research yourself, google is your friend.
  3. If you need the pump I won't be telling. Up to you really. I have a mate who runs comrades so high on pain pills I think he does it for the trip. Never breaks 9 hours so who cares.
  4. Do as much research as you have into your diet. You obviously care about your health. For starters: it's unhealthy, bottom line. Potentially fatal. And uneducated or misinformed people need to be told: don't drink 2 bottles of vodka then drive. No that extra vial of EPO won't make you even younger, faster or better looking, just deader. Secondly it's unfair to other amateurs who get a kick out if beating you. Why bother timing yourself publicly if you did so unfairly. You are not getting paid either way. For goodness sake read up on the law suits against Amgen for deaths resulting from legal EPO use. Train, eat right, be healthy. Those are the parameters, use them. Or not. It's one of those: if you have to ask do what you smaak things. No one really cares.

    It's almost a downhill race...
  6. You ride under license you are bound by them. You will never be tested so its up to you if you cheat or not, frankly nobody cares. Just like nobody really cares if you get that sub three or not. The rules are there for your own protection as well as the integrity of the sport. Use them or don't use them, the authorities, such as they are, have made them available for all to read, so don't you only have yourself to blame if you end up in trouble. I don't know why this is so hard to swallow? You may not drink and drive, murder, rape or steal yet these far more severe infringements happen every day. If you are idiot enough to need an ego boost by using EPO or roids then by all means do so.
  7. True Slowbee but, imperfect or not, the law (or rules as Goya points out) are all we have and by reading some of the posts above it is clear that imperfect rules trump non existent common sense any day.
  8. Exactly. I don't do EPO alcohol or sugar st all. Still on the water.
  9. The wrong amount of it can be fatal.
  10. If you really can't answer that yourself then go online and read which are banned. A whole lot of clever folk in white coats have done all the hard work for you. And don't get caught by the "it's natural" thing. Opium, nicotine, zol, cocaine, are all natural and catastrophic for your health. Take what you want but don't equate vitamins and concentrated foods with EPO or drugs. It's not a slippery slope. Laws are there to help confused or otherwise incompetent people in making what amounts to very simple choices.
  11. As long as no one is testing the pee...
  12. Do I have to use a hose?
  13. Dangle is probably sitting behind his desk right now! According to Brandon that's crime and everyone should be privileged enough to be paid to ride a bike! I'm a farmer, wonder where watching trees grow come in to it?
  14. Dude, you just made me snort milk out my nose!
  15. Ha Ha yeah the risks of peeking.
  16. Nothing better than chasing Lycra boude!
  17. Forgot to mention the Giordana bib shorts and sidi shoes, oh crap, no wonder the MTBers hate us...
  18. Hehe for a crackerjack. Never fear, it's a CAAD, only crack you'll see is mine if your sucking my wheel!
  19. Try bru but those slicks can be used over and over and will last a very long time. Most folk got back up tubes too. I wouldn't put slicks for a single event only but they are useful for indoor and road training. If you know what you are doing you won't waste your goo either... Ahhh what the hell... You're right... Use your knobbies or get a road bike, Colnago or Dale and run with the tight pant crowd...
  20. It's not the roadies judging but the MTBers. I thought the mountain goats had a live and let live thing going but here they are using cool and uncool... I'll be there on my Dale in all my fancy kit and the only guy I will shake my head at is the one chewing up his R 500.00 UST tyres and grinding his dirty XT drive chain to hell because he thinks it will be cool to pass roadies like that. The only roadies he will pass are slow ones and what's the point of that? Use slicks if you want, it's cheaper and faster, clean and lube your bike properly and whoever recommends a smoke beforehand, or any other time, needs to be shot.
  21. A CLEANER tomorrow.
  22. So you say. LA needs a New team of lawyers then. I mean, they got OJ and Michael Jackson off... Hey, bet they never read the interwebs, it's there for all to see! These darn witch hunts, out of nowhere and bam! They got you.
  23. They took away two GT titles. That's what the process allows and it would have been the same for LA if he had bothered to look past his ego for 5 secs and taken part himself. Instead he cries no fair! Pity for the Berto haters though, lots of GTs there for him to win still.
  24. Your moral code is grounded on the premise that the process is broken. You have formed that premise by choosing one slant of news report over the other. Captain America rather than Batman. Me? I go for Bats. LA has fouled something I love and as THE ambassador it was his friggin duty to be clean. Stone him!
  25. Hey Dangle, You are right about Le Mond being a cry baby whiner, just like Hamilton and Landis, seems to be a whistle blower thing... Not sure if he ever doped, haven't read his name linked to anything yet but that doesn't prove much! I'm not pro Le Mond or any of them but if you get caught fess up, do your time and move on with something else, quit pointing out how unfair life is when you were the one cheating in the first place. More importantly, you riding the Magoebaskloof classic tomorrow?
