    Put a 27.5 on the back and to raise the BB back up, stick a longer fork on the front. Head angle will be much slacker, but coming from XC numbers, should be lekker! Really keen to hear how this turns out.

    How does this work in terms of declaration of goods and import taxes? Would you need to proof the bike was bought here way back when? I was wondering about this as I was thinking to buy a bike at cheaper European prices and just fly it back with me whilst I am overseas. The workaround is fly a cheapo over so you can show you left with a bike and came back with a bike. Not sure if this has ever been an issue.

    If you have lost that much fork pressure in two months, you might as well go for the service. You should not be leaking so much in such a short time. @droo at Stoke suspension in Woodstock can sort you out. But also, no bike shop will charge you to use their shock pump. If they are, get another shop.

    Updates for 2024 on 'standard' vitality Fitness points We're also expanding the ways in which you can earn Vitality fitness points, recognising short, high intensity workouts and long, light intensity workouts. Earn 100 points for a workout of 15 to 29 minutes at a moderate or high intensity of over 70% of your age related maximum heart rate. Earn 200 points for a workout of 60 to 89 minutes and 300 points for a workout longer than 90 minutes, for light intensity workouts of 60% to 69% of your age-related maximum heart rate. Due to low take-up, the Vitality High Performance Fitness Assessment will be discontinued in 2024.

    Does anyone know if you can or how hard it is to switch back from the endurance catagory to the standard one?

    They used to do the Alu in comp spec. Back in 2019 Specialized STB did me a solid and ordered 2 bikes with differing kits and swopped out parts but was a much simpler switch. I wanted an Alloy ST Stumpy in Comp spec, but the comp spec was only on Alu LT and Carbon ST. So they ordered both and switched out forks and linkages.     Does anyone know if they allow credit card payments without a surcharge yet? On my last invoice I got the standard: "Please indicate preferred payment method, EFT, PayJustNow or Credit Card via PayFast @ 3.5% extra." To which I said, no thank you, that is not in line with any credit card end user agreements so waive the fee. To which they responded" "We have subsequently moved away from PayFast and will no longer be making use of their facilities, we are busy aligning ourselves with another partner, for now we cannot process Credit Card transactions until that process has been set up." I never went through with the order and feel like they were giving me the run around, so wondering what their latest line of BS is? Those cheap prices don't pay for themselves.

    Looking to ride from Stb to Hermanus/Stanford. Seems like to most risky part is not getting mugged between Strand and Gordon's Bay? Anyone with some feedback of how Clarens drive is and if it will be daft to do the Strand GB section alone?

    Yep, the point is to spend it on thing you would be buying anyway, and not expensive coffees (unless you are usually spending cash on it.)
