Come on now... That would be to The Gunners advantage! Lol

I’ve just watched highlights of the Liverpool v Leicester game of a few days ago, and I’m surprised at how little has been made of Tyler Morton’s challenge on Perriera that only got him a yellow card....

If Saints can pull this off and win against Hammers, then it’s a good tenner to lose...

  5. That turned out absolutely stunning 👌🏽

Is that a good or not so good statistic... 🤔

Ultimately, Liverpool failed to pick up the three points because they scored two great goals, while conceding the same!

I respect that our opinions differ. The point I was making about there having been many other incidents, is that in hindsight we can always pick the perfect scene! Were you aware of the accidental handball rule with the Salah incident at the time of the incident? Because even the studio analysts in both Sky and BBC commentary were divided. In the end the it was the correct call. Some days those are given. Regarding the Dele Alli incident - I’ve watched and been involved in football for long enough to know that penalties have been awarded for diving! Kane’s challenge on Robertson was late and dangerous, for which he received a yellow card. Now, had that challenge been made after numerous other infringements, and around the 76th minute in the game then of course it gives the ref no option but to issue red! However, being as early in the game probably worked in Kane’s favour... Doesn’t equal a dirty player! And you know how I feel about Klopp...
  9. Those grips look really neat 👌🏽 Except I would need heated grips and I see they are in the R4-5k range so I would have to spend some time making a choice. Seen a set with similar chrome bits at the lower price point, and then the Willy G or Kahuna are the higher end prices.
  10. Which grips did you get? I’m considering replacement grips for my Street Glide... Will probably have to take the scenic route to Gold Rand Harley, all of 8km away as the crow flies, lol

Not really fair comment because there were more questionable incidents in a quite intense match... How about the handball by Mo Salah leading up to their second goal, or the shove on Dele Ali in the box... and of course there were others, but that doesn’t mean players should be called out if referees have made mistakes! Despicable is probably a fair description of Klopp’s behavior in the match, in my opinion.

Phew! That was a pretty hectic first half. Spurs 7-3 Liverpool (scoring chances that is). So let’s kick on from this with Spurs 1-1 Liverpool (goals that is) COYS Edit: Of course only Spurs can lose a winning game.... :ppffffffrtttt: Edit v2: Son eventually does what he failed to do in 5 previous attempts... score! 2-2 Edit v3: 90’+1’ Strange to see Liverpool hanging on and making two late defensive subs Overall, 2-2 is probably a fair result

So Aston Villa v Burnley gets called off less than two hours before kickoff.... and just like that! I lose a tender.... 😔 Nevermind the permutation was for 13.42 I’m not sure that calling games off this late is good for anybody in the game actually... It’s frustrating all round!! And how does it help not postponing all fixtures... 🤔🤔

I would never have guessed... Just shows the importance it makes to win home matches, in total it’s about 57 points over the season. And that is close to the tally for reaching top 4.

Burnley v Watford has been called off due to Covid, less than 3 hours before kick off. The match is postponed. Meanwhile, Leicester v Spurs will go ahead, with the FA rejecting both clubs’ request for postponement.

    Formula 1...

There still remained the possibility that the leading two could’ve taken each other out...

    Formula 1...

Agreed. But there’s no way anybody knew that racing would continue after the safety car, until the penultimate lap. And the freeing up of only certain lapped cars was also unprecedented. RB reacted and gambled on the pit stop and it worked, while MB were slow to see the opportunity.

    Formula 1...

Nah Dude, I think it is more a case of questioning the rules and decisions rather than who won. After all, rules are the means to make racing fair. And I am not a Lewis Hamilton fan, but I think he was cheated out of the win.

    Formula 1...

The point Ferrari are making is that Sainz still had a race to run, and had to pass cars which he had already lapped, unlike Max. Sainz also had to make sure that he didn’t get overtaken for the podium position he was in at the time of the safety car. Essentially, they are saying that the race was not only between Max and Ham, so the release of lapped cars should have been consistent through the field. I think Sainz would have lost the position if all the lapped cars were let through. But let’s see if anything even comes of it. Still, it’s getting messy...

    Formula 1...

I absolutely agree that the season is over. However, going into 2022 racing calendar all of the issues encountered in 2021 will definitely be raised for clarity in the rules. Already, it has caused Teams to longer have direct contact with the Race Director during races.... Hhhmmmmmmm, surely that decision didn’t need to wait till after the final race....! It was clear and obvious prior to the race.
  22. RoddieJ

    Formula 1...

There were lapped cars behind Max and in front of Sainz which were not released before the last lap restart. Therefore, Sainz was disadvantaged by competing cars further back who had fresher, faster compound tires that he had to defend against on older hard compound tires... Lets see if all this comes into play while the events of the Race Director’s decisions are being scrutinized

    Formula 1...

So now Ferrari are unhappy with Michael Masi allowing lapped cars between the two lead cars, to unlap themselves... This, while keeping the lapped cars between the third placed Ferrari of Carlos Sainz, who was still competing for the final podium position! This just gets more and more messy...! Might have been easier to stick to the rules, rather than “want to go motor racing”... for one lap!

So West Ham throw me out on my permutation today, but the points they dropped favour Spurs’ opportunity to leapfrog them with the games in hand (if Spurs win)... I suppose it’s a story of swings and roundabouts.... 🤷🏽‍♂️

    Formula 1...

And to think that, with 10 laps to go, Karen Horner admitted that MV33 had a mountain to climb... Then Latifi showed up! And in the end LH44 and Merc fell asleep on the strategy...! Congratulations to Petrona MB on taking the Constructors’ Championship 👏🏽👏🏽
