I'm sure the I-Team is like a sleeper force - resting until collective momentum spins up into action...just like an electromagnetic rear wheel infact... I personally am currently on a self-imposed racing-ban. Training with a mate, who's doing Argus, which keeps me fit and let's me smell the roses. Much to recommend it!

You might be onto something here. I for one am gay, some might say deliriously happy, when I'm on my bicycle. Doubly so, when I'm sucking....wheel

I'm almost in the same boat. Decided to take 2 weeks off to get over a calf muscle strain, but crumbled on Sunday with a short 40 min ride at sundown as a prelude to a sundowner. One thing that was some consolation is how full of beans one feels when on the bike, calf strain or not!

Re SBR. It would make a great get-fit or die-trying route, but is there enough scope for I-Team training ie pacelines etc? Or would that take place on the run to/from SBR?

Believe me, you don't. Joining the team is a state of mind. Staying with them is another thing entirely, but that's how you get 'better' I suppose!

B&D is on 6 Feb 2016. That would test the I-Team's ability to keep it together over some hills.....

Saturdays are generally out for me unfortunately. Anyway this weekend, I think my ITBS will need some down time. A pity as you'll be going within 2km of my house!

Let me state for the record that if Patch is riding, then i'm 100% behind Hayley...;-)
