Imagine looking at it from the point of "how do we make gear more affordable so more people buy and start the sport which grows the industry". Would love to see that! I though MTB'ing is getting bigger than road cycling....maintenance is also a lot more on them so they should be busier in winter than summer?? Also in winter most people take their bikes in for service, there is very very little cost expense behind doing a service, so their charge is mostly profit. Also remember winter gear and indoor trainers, all are bought in bulk and they will receive a good discount from suppliers, so no, in actual fact winter is as profitable as summer.

Don't worry fowlstart i think i got one better on you, remember before my farewell you attended? 3 weeks before that so roughly the 20 of november I ordered my custom saddle thru fizik SA, im still waiting for it, they have my email, they have the shops number who said they'd keep it for me till june this year, i phoned them numerous times before I left and all thay said was, they have know idea when. they also changed the cost on me 4 times which was more than R1000 difference from the original quote. still waiting for their email of which I have had none and I'd rather now, bypass the importer in SA and get it straight from italy, just specify the shop you want it sent it, I suggest you do this cause it will be much cheaper and a lot faster from speaking to others who have done the same! Poor service from the SA distributor and in this current economic state, they better buck up their service or lose their license with fizik.

no what you need to do is google, website hosts, and use them to view the hub, they will let you view it by un ubtraceable link or what ever and the filter at work wont block it. my 17y.o. cousin taught me that.

Scott has recalled a whole batch of its 09, speedster range, in particular the S40's and S60's and the Contessa speedster so check your frames if you have just bought one or are going to buy one, Scott have been really fast and helpful in ordering the destruction of these frames and the replacement of them to. They have a structural weakness in the head tube on the frame and break very easy. so just watch out for this if there are any sly shops out there who are willing to risk it and con the public.
