  1. Handles like a dream, but I haven’t been on her since Dec 2017. ????????
  2. Way, way, way overdue pic of my Codeine 29er. She is a bit dirty
  3. I have a medium frame and I am 1.82m tall. I have a 50mm stem on her and cannot fault her at all.
  4. I have, but the 29er version. Lovely bike. First time I would proudly call myself riff raff!
  5. Would anyone in the Cape Town area be interrested in a Codeine 29er that may be going up for sale? Had a crash on first day of my leave and broke my ankle badly. Bike still fine but my riding future is in jeopardy.
  6. Wish I could say something, but she is in my garage roof awaiting her fork (ETA 20 Dec) as well as the correct hub/axle kit for my rear wheel.
  7. Acting more like Loki than Odin's son there
  8. The secret is that the box could self levitate
  9. So...... This arrived at my office this morning.
  10. I got some teaser shots from Ryanmtb last night and I know finally understand why the junkies crave after the pink stuff. I will embrace my Codeine addiction with open arms!!
  11. Reluctantly i will comply.
  12. Double post
  13. Pics or it hasn't happened.....
  14. Soon i will be able to post here.
  15. I will admit that I am biased as my friend was in close running for the GoPro. Its sad that when we left work on Thursday he was neck and neck with the winner mentioned above. Then within 12 hours the winner was ahead by 40 - 60 votes? The serious cheating then followed thereafter. Admin could shurely check who has received votes from new hub members to ensure more fair practice. Rant off.
  16. Hi. Has there been a decision regarding the Feb competition and its odd voting numbers?
  17. I would like to know how on earth does one get 40 to 60 votes in less than 12hrs? Smells a bit fishy to me....
  18. After the Camps Bay thing, I currently feel that everybody in traffic is giving me the evil eye. Oh ja, I am *** scared of delivery/panel vans at present!
  19. I have found that I have experience many of the below emotions when I see one of our kin, that being cyclists/commuters, pedalling not just over a stop sign but across a red light Anger: Cause you bring the rest of us into disrepute Ashamed: Cause I didn’t call you out on it Sceptical: Cause when a cyclist gets knocked down its always the cars fault isn’t it? Embarrassed: Cause I have to constantly defend cyclist to other non cyclist because you are the douche that drivers will always refer to. The list is much longer but don’t have the energy at this time on a Friday to continue. Cycle safe fellow commuters
  20. What i have learned: Fitness is fickle and has dropped faster than I would have liked If you are up the road I am chasing you down like the sorry prey that you are If you pass me or drop me, I was only out for a casual recovery ride in any case!
  21. I went 1x10 a month or 2 ago. Best is to use a gear ratio calculator and compare the ranges of what you currently have and what you want to get. I did this and cycled around for a month with the gears I identify in the comparison.
  22. So to be clear the shock does NOT have to go back to insurance if a new frame with a shock is supplied through insurance claim?
  23. Its for a friend claiming for a broken frame.
  24. Hi all. Are you entitled to keep your rear shock when claiming for a broken frame from insurance?
  25. BTW, on my commute this morning I was able to comfortably pedal at 35km/h and do 40km/h at a Froomelike cadence.
