  1. Just a stupid question.........isn't CSA supposed to be the unified body of the "old" SACF and PPA ??????
  2. Has to be Eddy Merckx
  3. I must agree. I was really impressed. Rode Babbas lodge on Sunday, and on Monday (a public holiday as well) the results were already posted. And the entry fee was affordable which including timing. Unlike eg. Walkerville classic. Hand timing, not correct and took days to post.
  4. Do you want to part with some of your wealth? Busy sortng through all the parts. Once done if I want to get rid of any of it I'll give you a shout.
  5. I used to have an Alan. I bought in '82. Had Campy Super Record all cut out etc. Sat in my garage for years after byuing a new Bianchi. Eventually donated it to cycling development 2 years ago. Sometimes wish I hadn't. Also wonder what happened to it.
  6. I have a Claud Butler and a Geoffrey Butler track bike. All Campag throughout. Been lying around for ages. Gonna start fixing up. From early 80's
  7. Maybe nobody wants to buy Shimano anymore so they had to buy a decent product to keep sales going.
  8. The results are on www.cyclingnews.co.za My time was about 3 mins out, which was a bit disappointing as I broke 3 hours only to see officially I didn't.
  9. It's the routes fault. Too far after the climb foranyone to have a chance. And usually not much happens the first week. The race is in the Alps. Commentators do p*ss me off. They talk about the Lance group, Lance's Astana team. As far as I know Contador rides with the team leaders no. and was announced as the team leader. Lance should do as he expected from hie teammates in the past......work for your team leader.
  10. It's funny....these bikers who profess to care soooo much.....are probably the same ones that cruise past on the other side of the road and don't greet, or ignore you when you drop out of a training bunch with a flat. Maybe it's just sour grapes.....he was on his bike during the day, and they were "too busy" to go out and ride. If you haven't slipstreamed a truck before....go out and live a little. Just make sure you wear a helmet !!!!!
