Thats very strange that the freehub didnt last because i've been ridding my xt wheels for about 20000kms and they still great,been serviced once,had the bearings replaced once and still have the same freehub

The problem with buying a second hand bike is that you are also buying someone elses problems.

I have had my kcnc TI for about five months and i'm very happy with it. I have heard they have a wate limit of about 80KG otherwise they can break quite easyly
