  1. They grind measurably faster. Have not used them long enough to comment on wear but supposed to last for 4-5 tons of beans. Subjectively espresso tastes "clearer", definitely blew life back in the ol' Super Jolly.
  2. Out of interest, this is the response I got from LaMarzocco Technical Support when I contacted them a while back which echo the sentiment from the home barista link: Upon probing they did indicate that a transformer could work, but I am still a bit concerned about the change in frequency and legal implications. They also particularly stressed the importance that the machine needs to be earthed.
  3. Did consider that and consulted LM, you need quite a serious one for 1800W and if there is ever electrical fire you in serious trouble even if it was not the cause. Frequency also 60hz.
  4. Thanks Monark, really is a pleasure to use. Honestly it is the most painful item I have to leave behind. Bikes are fortunately coming along [emoji6]
  5. Thanks, it is quite special.
  6. Reluctantly considering the selling of my espresso machine (La Marzocco Linea Mini) and grinder (old Mazzer Super Jolly with ssp burrs installed), immigrating to 110V country. DM me if interested (some pretty nice high end stuff):
  7. Some more cups [emoji477]
  8. If during the week, I would recommend Koldserve. They could literally stock a coffee shop...
  9. Items have been taken. PM me, would like to trade for handshake, everything in one go with someone who can put to good use. Pretty good condition. Full Acera 3x8 groupset with crank 26" suntour xcm fork 26" bontrager disc wheelset handlebar and seatpost
  10. Hi Steven, I used their wheel builder website initially when investigating the options. When it came time to ordering I used the chat function on their site to get answers to some questions (e.g. they have 32H J-bend dt swiss hubs but 28H is straight pull). They offered me valves, tape & extra spokes free as part of a promotion and there was also a small pay pal discount. These helped a little. Payment is done via paypal. You can also wire directly but for these lower amounts it is actually cheaper to paypal & you get buyer protection. I used the default shipping which was expensive. I believe you can save by doing it through Aramex Global Shopper, there are some posts on bikehub about users experience with this, which sound positive. I found light bicycle very responsive. I chopped and changed order details a couple of times and they would always get back within a day. The only painful part was waiting for it to arrive. They estimated a week, but took about 3. Also the shipping tracking was not fantastic (did not update for 2 nervous weeks ). Hope that helps, PM me if you want more details.
  11. My wheelset from light bicycle: Setup: 34mm wide rims asymmetric 650b rims on dt swiss 350 32H with dt swiss competition race spokes Delivery time: ~3 weeks, although felt longer Packaging: decent, no damage to wheels Wheelset weight: 1644 g, claimed weight: 1628.64g+/-25, pretty happy with this Tubeless setup: Could not get to seat with floor pump, however, was re-using old tyres. Took to garage and seated 1st try. Once seated stays in place and very secure. Did not lose any pressure after first inflation. Ride: grippy, stable & stiff Photo epic:
