  2. Hi. Dm me your email and I will send you a few gpx files
  3. Thanks Nico. You happy with your purchase(MTB)?I clip in btw.
  4. How does the returns work on stuff like shoes. I'm worried if they don't fit. Do they cover return shipping?
  5. Keen on buying mtb clipless shoes. Anyone purchased from them before?
  6. I have purchased a phone mount, many cycling shirts, torque wrench and a few other bits. Cycling shirts are excellent quality, torque wrench seems fine but i need to use it more. Phone mount was terrible, breaking off and damaging my phone 5 minutes in the ride. Luckily it was a spare phone. Delivery of items are quick and tax is reasonable. Worth it.
  7. Thanks David. Quiet familiar with your suggestion so will certainly give that a go.
  8. Hi. Taking my mtb to Durban this holidays and planning to cycle from Moses mabida to Umhlanga and back. Has anyone done this before where it avoids roads?
  9. Hi. Need recommendations on a strong cellphone mount for an mtb.Something durable for technical riding. My previous one broke off while riding. Thanks
  10. Any recommendations in gauteng?
  11. Actually didn't and the cranks are shorter...hmm. sounds like you answered my reason to go to a pro. Thanks
  12. Lol... actually the seat i have is old and although the correct width, could be the reason for all the sliding. No Mr min though
  13. I did slam my stem so could be this. I was using AI tools and a tripod to get me going and I came 80% close to perfect..
  14. Yes, it's basically trying to find a comfortable spot. No issues on joints or reach etc. It's more noticeable indoor since I'm stationary. Makes it very difficult to exercise in the week. Arranging to go to someone soon
  15. Yeah, totally different geometry. Coming from a 2016 Merida to a 2021 Scott.
  16. Got a new bike and Richard Baxter has left the country. Replicated the same measurements he did on my old bike and although I don't have any pain, I'm very uncomfortable on the saddle. I have the right width seat for my sit bones. Sliding all around especially on the trainer. Could it be an old seat or do I have to go to a fitter?
  17. Dropping off my bike with Richard on Wed. Will update results. Thanks for the great feedback gents.
  18. Agreed. Richard did my fit
  19. Didnt think of the thickness affecting the post height. Valid point. I have already set it and seems fine. Will ride it this week on the trainer and see how that goes. I guess with all the minute changes, it makes sense to visit the fitter again. After all, he did say he is happy to install the seat when i plan to get a new one. Tx
  20. Sounds like a plan. Will install the old seat and measure the length from stem to widest part and then install Spez. Yes, it has a rise in the back so will be higher. Thanks
  21. Hey. I did the sit bones measurement and they recommend 155mm. I'm looking for the steps to install it correctly. The nose is shorter on the Spez so struggling to get it right.
  22. Hi. Was recommended by my bike fitter to get a bigger saddle to address being uncomfortable and always waking up from the saddle. I recently purchased a Spez Power Saddle 155mm moving from a 143(Prologo) I installed it but just doesn't feel right. What are the tips and tricks considering I have the bike fit measurements? Last resort is to take it to him. Tx
  23. Hey. Used it 3 times and covered about 50km. It works great and very smooth. I'm using the Tacx premium software that gives you a month's subscription free. I don't notice much of a delay on the climbs. The one thing I world have loved is the freewheel on downhill. This trainer doesn't come with it, so flying downhill at 60km/h will still allow you to push the pedal making it very unrealistic. Something I can live with. Happy with my purchase. BTW - if you in Josies, check out Hotspotcycles.they have it for R9899. Best price I found. Awesome service as well. Ask for Mouritz.
  24. Hi I'm unable to pair my Garmin Fenix 5 to Tacx Flux S. The trainer is unable to find it. I tried the heartbeat broadcast as well as searching for sensors. Is the Fenix 5 compatible? I know it has Ant+
