  1. Even better, I will contact them and find out how to send it. The sooner the better for me! Thanks
  2. Well I am currently training with nothing at the moment. So I will take it in ASAP and get it sent away. I feel like I am training blind without it.. Thanks for all the info.
  3. Ok great thanks. I will do it ASAP, I feel lost without it!!
  4. Hi there, I am in Cape Town and need to get the battery changed on my Polar S520. Can this be done at a shop or can I do it myself? If any one has any information please let me know. Thanks
  5. Well organized event, and I have to say the temporary road closure was excellent. At times we were all riding on the wrong side of the road in the gutter and the cops made the cars go right off the road. Also the results came out quickly and we did not have to wait days to see who was lying where. Other than that, well done Groot Lem, would definately recommend it to anyone next year!
  6. Yes that is true, but you will always go as fast as you possibly can. There is no better feeling than dropping someone on a hill
  7. The hills are fun, I like them. Nothing like suffering while going up them. I cant wait...
  8. If I got the chance to race oversea's I would pack up and go in a second. You can always come home and race again... But the times spent oversea's would be priceless
  9. I had the following: 2 x Cytomax, 1 x bottle water, 1 x Ham & Cheese Sarmi, 1 x can coke, Half PVM Enertg Bar, 3 x Gu and some Jelly Babies
  10. I am taking about 8 GU, 3 packets Jelly Babbies, 2 Energy Bars, 2 x bottles cytomax and 2 x bottles water, and a Cheese and Ham Sarmie. I will only eat the GU and jelly babies later in the race. Keep eating normal food for the first half. Seems to work for me
  11. The race was fun, and it was very hard going up the climb just after halfway. It was nice to have some teams present to make the racing more interesting. The wind was also not the best on the way out, but very nice coming back. Nice pictures BTW!

    D2D Punctures

I got a puncture after 90km in the middle of no where, just as the attacks started. Landed up doing the final 81km on my own, legs were tired and I was tired. A nice guy did stop and give me a spare wheel, but the bunch was already almost out of sight!
