Spectrum Sport have yet to prove themselves as a reliable timer of MTB events. I have had two experiences where my times were incorrect. One of the times involved a "placing" and financial reward in my catergory. SS corrected, monies paid over, but not even an apology. Me thinks they have "connections" that is why they are used more often than not. I have to concur that events in KZN are well timed, accurate,quick and efficient.

Are you sure you were not paid to take the pic & shirt.......LOL...just joking. But not in the same league and cannot even compare the circumstances. People want to judge a person on this one "deed", and quickly forget what huge contribution has and still is making to various charities........never mind the awareness to cycling and cyclists in general.
C'mon guys. This is getting sick/out of hand. If this was done and seen by fellow competitors, it should be reported to the powers that be to take the necessary action against this pig. Hopefully someone has reported this "crap" incident. This person has no respect for ANYONE - imagine if this was done in front of your missus - would you be happy??....take action??.......mmmmmmm - thought so.
Good day Ya'All - Just a thought - why not create a "Christain" or "Religious" forum where people who need to speak about praying/bible and stuff can post. That way, those of us who are not into the prayer/religion/bible stuff will not be offended, and those who are into this kinda stuff can comment/agree etc to their hearts content.......just a thought..... Well done to this youngster....I think he is brilliant. I did not for a moment think anything wrong with the routine..... When Ian made the comment - I thought "WTF!!" From what age are these "moves" acceptable??!! It is the "adults" who see things/interpret things done out of the innocence of youth. Who are the real pervs...........?
I suggest you go check out/ride the route in the last week of November......they should have kinda finalised the route by then. Entries close on 1st Dec, so then you can make a decision. My input - enter the event and take it as it comes and have some fun.
