Hi I am one of the riders in the group, infact i was just behind the first guy to get hit and just went to the front of the group. firstly - From Umhlanga North, cyclist are allowed, there are signs to show cyclist ahaed, all cyclist in Durban will tell you this. secoundly - we were 20+ in the group riding in the yellow lane which is close to 2m wide and that part of the road has a big yellow lane and 2 lanes for cars and the road is flat and straight. All the guys are doing well and recovering, 3 were kept over night for observation, 1 got discharged this morning. The guy was drunk or on his phone, the first 2 weekends after pay day is always crazy outside the clubs. We are just grateful that the Almight saved us and this could have been much worse

Not sure what type of damage - you cant really see it. No cracks There is a shudder when you brake - Definitely the wheel as we have tried it on other bikes

Hi i have 2 front wheels (American Clissic & Campag). Both are carbon with Alu braking surface and both have been damages on the alu braking surface, the carbon is fine. I am looking for someone who can repair them Thanks

The reason I never open it was - I needed only the front STI and both came packaged individually - My luck was i opened the Front one first which is the one i needed and its was new. When i received my original front STI (which was sent back to Shimano to be replaced) i decided to sell them both (New replacement and the one i bought on the hub and thought to be new).

Hi Yes, I advertised it as new BEC I THOUGHT IT TO BE NEW. I bought it from a fellow hubber a few months back and never opened it. As soon as i opened it i told I am sorry as its not new. Thanks - I plan on getting another road bike and always liked a TT bike. So was thinking instead of buying 2 bikes (new road and TT) just convert my old one for a fraction of the price.
