Hi riders, I recently got back into riding and acquired a secondhand bike that needed some new bits. The last component to help me with the bike’s geometry is a set of proper riser bars. I need at least a 40mm rise and ideally 800mm width. I really liked Renthal bars the last time I rode and would like to get again but it seems all the places you used to be able to buy them are not there anymore. Could anyone suggest an online store that stocks them at a fair price? Any other advice or referrals will be appreciated. Cheers

Haven't ridden in a while and decided I'l start off with what I remember to be one of the most fun riding experiences I've had so far- Fixed Gear. This one was originally built by Hunter cycles but I added some things. (I didn't have much of a say with the pedals, they were cheap and easy to come by)

So glad you posted this. I had quite a nasty fall on the Spruit the other day, trying out a new jump we had built. I was wearing my Specialized helmet and apart from a snapped strap, the rest of the helmet remained in tact even though it was one of my nastiest bails. I wish they would make some AM helmets so it could be my next helmet purchase.

Well then I guess that makes Brian Lopes(a legend in cycling) a 29er riding, clipped shoe wearing, lycra rocking idiot? I really get pissed off at hate towards any kind of mountain biker. Yes I find some riding styles a bit lesser to my liking, but I wouldn't go out of my way to diss them. I did giggle a little at the thread, but it's getting old now.
