    hells, makes me think of my mate steve who I used to MTB with years ago. he's a quadriplegic following a fall on his bike probably around 10 years ago now. I wish someday he can get back on a bike.

    they do, but you have to get 24 x 3.0 tyres and call it something stupid like 24+

    I fitted 10 gears to my SS and haven't even ridden it yet. Far too ashamed.

    One's SS needs to be the most expensive bike in your quiver. No old re-cycled 26ers with a chain tensioner.

    try get a used Rock Shox Reba, if, you can get one with a 15mm axle. (might need to replace your front hub but will be worth it) edit: el captain on the money.

    did the city realize how many parking bays they were going to take away? I'm all for the lanes, but they should have through out the parking issue. roads should be wider and parked cars should be the buffer between the cycle lanes and moving traffic. Tricky to do after the road has been built though.
