pair of maxxis crossmark 2.1 120 TPI clincher 29 inch tires. never used, gathering dust in the garage. they came with my mtb, but i did the tubeless thing when i bought it. edit: fixed it.
I tried to move it, but couldn't and... there were other trees laying on top of that one (to the left, out of view) and it seemed like a game of jenga. didn't want more to slide down onto the trail/me/my bike.
Went down the Ribbok ST today and encountered these trees. The first one is touch and go as to whether I could duck under it. didn't take the chance. This is on the "original" ST The second one is about handle bar height, so definitely wouldn't have made it. On the extended white bit that was added recently. Besides those, I enjoyed the added bit.
thanks dirtman. i will make sure to check properly tomorrow. perhaps i was looking on the wrong side of the road. edit: the tree is further down the road, if you miss the turnoff. like i did :-|
apologies, didn't mean to offend. i just took the name from Strava www.strava.com/segments/12006123?filter=overall after the blue bit there is an arrow to turn left, but 200m down, the right turn is not marked.
Hellwarp... after the "stukkie ST" on the Red route, there is no sign to turn off where you join up to the Red/Orange route. There is a tree with lotsa other signage on, but no route marker. I missed the turnoff the first time I attempted the red route. Checked Strava to see where I should turn the next time. Managed to find my way then. It could be a bit frustrating for a first timer trying to do the red route. For those who don't know it's 200m after you exit the "stukkie ST"
