  1. Hi guys. Somewhat off topic but can anyone help with local post office info? I have a parcel from AliExpress arriving in SA in September and still not delivered. The latest update I can find is '' departure from inward office of exchange(JIMC A) on the 31st of October. Any idea what the next step is and the possible time frame? It has to come to Port Shepstone.
  2. Nice one . Thanks 'Dale.
  3. I would like to see Boonen ending on a high but Sagan, the wild man, is such a destoyer. Not a huge fan(not a hater either) but admires his brute strength. Dont think he will be taking any prisoners in the Classics
  4. What a nice frame. Look at those long lines. Definately built for riding. Im thinking more endurance geometry instead of sprinting..
  5. I'd smaaaaaak to try one their road bikes. Have been looking and the want is growing..
  6. And me from Nigeria. A lot of guys coming down for the Argus later or they would have joined the ride for Gregory.
  7. Awesome that you are sponsoring a kid . I work in Nigeria so obviously do most of my riding there and ride with 5 Team Nigeria riders (3 females and 2 males) as well as a lot of youngsters from 11 to 19. The talent and commitment is phenomenal but they get hardly any help from the Government (the National riders) and 95% of all the riders, including the kids, are dirt poor. They don't dope to win races, they ride because they want to and enjoy it.Some of the bikes they ride are 30 years old. They don't have money for fancy bikes, fancy kit etc but they ride with smiles on their faces. Reminds me, as I was doing my morning ride here at home, a Cannondale kitted rider and his friend were coming the opposite way. I smiled and waved (as I enjoy riding my bike and am a friendly kind of guy) only to be ignored. Wow, I thought, these guys are coming down to the coast to ride my waves and ride on my road and they can't even lift a hand to greet. They must obviously hate riding as it seems to make them really unhappy. Keep on with the good work with your 18 year old and encourage him that hard work pays off. He certainly sounds like he has the right attitude. My motto in life is Attitude determines Altitude.
  8. Man I am so glad I ride for ENJOYMENT and the the pure love of just being on my bike. Must be terrible to be an amateur/weekend warrior and concerning yourself with which pro DOPED by taking an asthma inhaler/nose spray or some weird medicine that turns you into a super hero. What happened to smoking dope ? Now that's real doping. I don't even know who most of these dopers are and I don't care. I ride for enjoyment not for money or prestige. So to all the dopers out there, the smoking , sniffing and inhaling ones, stop it now so we can all have a different topic to comment on. To the rest of you non-pro's, Happy Riding Man !
  9. How many kids/people started cycling because of him and how many cyclists took to doping because of him ? Probably 10 000 to 1. I'm not ok with doping but look at the bigger picture.
  10. Couldn't agree more ! They have done the crime and the time.
  11. I take it that most of you commenting are professional road cyclists and not mountain bikers...
  12. Lovely bike on your profile pic
