  14. hi all, thanks for your comments so far, its nice when you start a topic that justifies a comment. one thing i must say is that i am a down and down bicycle lover, the enjoyment of R100 or R100000 bicycle is not in the bicycle itself but in the rider himself. So when i see the potential to restore/ fix up something of atleast some classical nature i feel its my duty to try my best to revive it enough for either myself or somebody else to enjoy. so in other words, a bicycle that still looks and can still be ridden like a bicycle after 30 years is not crap.it just hasnt been looked after. keep your eyes peeled: this bike will be have some street credit when its finished.
  15. hi all dont laugh please, but i found this bike at the local flea market, it has a fixed gear rear wheel from a track bike, wierd?? anyhay, i hate not knowing what make of bike it is. it pretty light and has some semi decent details, the most noticable detail is around the seat-tube. it almost has an exterior sleeve over it!!!it also has slotted rear dropout, hence being able to run it single speed.its has a combination of shimano exige and 200gs parts can anyone tell me what and whom made a frame like this thanks
  16. i love buying second hand bike parts and bikes because the price of new components and bikes are so rediculous i almost fall over everytime in enter a retail store, you need to be careful yes, but the reward when you find a bargain is just too good. second hand parts and bikes make it soo much more affordable to those without big wallets.
