Yeah the roads are fine my man, dont be riding through to the farm too early - unless you have fairly good lights to ride in the dark, plus im not even sure farms gates open before usual hours as such?

Howzit Squier, im from the area and ride regularly out back of illovo where there are plenty district roads and fair riding to get through with a few over grown single tracks for a thrill. Otherwise the farm is great riding with a few technical decents with tight switchbacks - and two primary trails for your riding choice of 20km and 40km distance.. Even closer then 30min away and great riding

what a small world hey man, i was at that exact same place end of last year for an awesome skiing holiday!! can only imagine how good those same slopes all are in summer!!

im all for light rain or a drizzle ride when commuting to work to beat the traffic as okes here seem to drop down a good 40km/h even on the slightest wet road... but when the rains belting down or pretty hardish - i jump in the 4 wheels and stay dry instead

hey man... im in durbs so traffic not near as bad but have had to sit in a few experiences where its crazy! So my input - i rode in that lil emergency lane on the right only to pick up so much **** off the road to have a piece of glass cutting my jeans and stabbing me in my one leg and enough lil glass bits to make their own unique patterns in my pirelli's! once i rode in the left hand side of the emergency lane when traffic was dead still cause of an accident ahead only to pic up a strange odd sharp piece of metal splitting my then michelin rear straight through and nearly throwing me off!! Stick to the lanes man - jump in and out of the fast and second and stay safe.. far easier and at much less risk of anything!

Mostly a fair weather rider, stay away from the muddy stuff when i can help it. Pref just a good all rounder really, ride a focus dual suspension

Is there that much saving though in the non ust at 580g compared to the ust of 700g? And do you run same pressures as you would run in ust tyre?

haha shot for the input top fuel - but as my original question are these proper tubeless tyres like proper tubeless protection against flats? Cause they are alot lighter then your average UST tyre are they not? You obviously have never had a problem with these?

Iron man shot for all the info mate, one thing though if these weigh 580g as oer your link surely its basically the same thing as fitting the real race king ust of 700g is it? Thats only 240g extra for two full ust tyres? Then again these at 580g are alot heavier then your normal with tubes tyre so is it safe to say they hold like 3 quarter the protection as a ust tyre does? Shot man!!

are these the 2011 ones on the website? Caerus you also had no problem riding with these instead of race king ust option?

sorry prob should have mentioned - ride mostly out on jeep tracks and single track, skill level - average or above? not sure and budget not to concerned as spent the coin on the wheels and want best choice of tyre
