  1. Howzit. I had a puncture lol & unfortunately after installing the new inner tube I had a bumpy ride home...I've re-installed the inner tube once I arrived home but still the same (theres no gap between the rim and tyre) ...it got me wondering...the original tube was a 700×19/23c and I had bought a 700×23/30 tube. So have installed the incorrect size tube ?

Does anyone know where i can find some 20" tubes? The rear tube on my 6 year old's bike split down the seam and the muppet I am I never bought replacements when i got her the bike for Christmas I am located in Walkerville
  3. Hi I am helping a community centre with a project and am looking for old MTB tubes that they make into belts. Any and all will be appreciated.
  4. I have noticed that SA bike shops seem to only stock regular tubes. It seems like there are a lot more options available from international online vendors. Within the Continental range there are a few different specs. Some reviews have stated that the Continental Race 28 Supersonic is the cheapest and easiest way to reduce the total weight of a bike by 100g and, considering this weight is on the extremity of the wheels, it should make for a significant improvement in acceleration too. What are the pros and cons of lightweight tubes?
  5. I'm sorry to rant, I'm usually not this full of crap...but...seeing that this is the second time I thought I'd shoot this out there to see what others' experience have been like. I rode the Argus with my MTB on slicks with Dr Sludge tubes. Last week when I was ready to put my knobblies back on I could deflate one of my tubes as the sludge had clogged the valve. After spending about 20 mins of cursing and fighting I managed to get the air out. Long story short - now I can't inflate the tube as there isn't enough space for the air to go through. This is the second time I have had this problem and thought I'd share my experience. I stored my bike in such a way that the valves were at the top so that the sludge sits at the bottom. Today I couldn't wait anymore and stopped by a shop to pick up tubes, call me a sucker as I walked out with Dr Sludge again...only this time when I opened the packet the sludge had leaked out leaving a rock solid crusted valve that can't move... I'm so disappointed as one tube costs R165!!! I think I'm just going to go back to tubeless...Stans!
