its a toss up between LG,Spesialized or sidi's

i know that it doesnt matter what make it is as long as it fits right, but:

the lg is made of some sort of a "plastic"(nice looking shoe, cbrunsdon has a pair), the spesialized is of a suede leather(and this worries me) and sidi's i know nothing about

i can get the spesialized from my lbs but not sure how the suede is gonna do when it gets wet..it gonna hold water and not dry quick???

any advice??

thanks

Specialised Sport. I got mine for R899 (- extra 15%) and they are super comfortable. They replace my LG pair that I had for 3 years. Nothing really wrong with them. I t was just time for a change.

Specialized.

I have road and MTB and prefer them to my Sidi's, and all other shoes previously worn

Specialized. They make great shoes. I am sure the suede will be fine as if it was a n issue they would have fixed it. I know several girls who have them and they have never complained so ;)

thanks yall...

so how does suede handle water? thats my worry :)

Which model has the suede? Must tell you that there is no more comfortable and knee friendly shoe than the Specialized (but I am sure not for all types of feet).

Spesh all the way!

Spend the extra cash and get the Pro model with the carbon sole.

You should also look at getting the custom innersoles, the High arch support (green ones) made all the difference for me.

Helliose - usually I would imagine that the suede would be treated to be water repellant...especially if its a MTB shoe. Still like my Olympics the most - they are absolutely the best value for money around and last for years and years and then some :D

the olympics have worked well for me too but the only problem is trying to find mtb shoes locally in smaller sizes (have to wear 2 pairs of socks to get my olympics to fit properly but then it takes on stacks of water if there are river portages /rain)
