Dispatch Felt Cycle Tour

That used to be the old dispatch route. Changed it because it was not safe anymore

 

I really liked the hills on that route, I think it was far harder, but without the sting in the tail that the present route has. Nothing is as bad as the Buffs marathon though, running up Willisdale(?) Road is a killer.

willasdale forms part of my hill training loop. Yup chulumna far harder than the present route. Will be using it as one of many training routes over winter. But my long suffering wife will have to follow me.

 

If you guys are keen for a hard race do the time freight kei challenge. 1400m odd of climbing over 80km

Good report guys! I think its tougher for a climber as you have to paddle all the way with little resting.

A pleasure to ride except for the idiot teen that clipped my wheel to have me crashing at 40km an hour. Somebody needs to explain to sonny about holding your line and if you are going to stand have the common courtesy to say so.

Hello Bennie! Unfortunately legs and shoulder took the worst of it, not a great deal of skin left! Mark rode brilliantly though, lost him after 20 min, must be his new Colnago! Take care,

Brought one from PE and Ugie. They haven't seen uphills like this on one road before. Bothe getting off and resting at 70km into the race. They enjoyd it to the max and will be here again in 2012.
