Viewing Ads on the Hub

Am I the only person who can't view the ads? When I click on the ads from the front page, they load perfectly. However, when I view all ads and then select a category, the category loads fine, but when I click an ad, it just doesn't load

 

Am I doing something wrong? I think it has something to do with the different web addresses:

The addresses shouldn't make any difference.

 

When you say the ad doesn't load. Does the page not load at all? Or display incorrectly.

 

What web browser and version are you using?

It's just a blank page that loads. It opens the page like normal, but no images appear on the page. However, as I said above, if I click on it from the home page it works perfectly.

 

I'm using Firefox 4.0, and I also tried it in IE 7.0...

Odd - I've just tested in Firefox 4 with no issue.

I have the same problem. I think it may be Anti-Virus related. I use Kaspersky on my laptop and I have the problem outlined above using both Firefox and IE8. I use a Mac at home and all the ads are accessible (Safari). As an aside I also get this problem when trying to view the bike ads (enlarge thumbnails) on bikebay. Its a bit annoying but I suppose I'll do more work during office hours this way ...

I also use kaspersky... Hmmm maybe that's what's causing it?

Just changed a setting in Kaspersky and now it's working perfectly! :-)

Your browser is still using the old (cached) style sheets. Just press Ctrl + F5 to force it to load the new one.

I clicked settings, then anti-banner, then settings under 'use the list of allowed URLs', and added www.thehubsa.co.za.

 

It now seems to work perfectly

I get an error when i open an add in the new classifieds........ could it be a seeting on my PC ?

Hey Hubbers

 

I can browse the new classifieds fine but when i click on an advert to view it the page goes blank.

 

"Whats new" and "most viewed" are 100 %, everything else does not want to open.

 

My IT guy checked my browser and said it was fine.

 

im using Chrome and tried IE too

Are you perhaps using Kaspersky anti-virus? Other users reported a similar issue and narrowed it down to Kaspersky stopping the page from loading.
