Best chain lubricant?

I used Squirt during the to Hell and Back last weekend, after going thru 2 little rivers my bike was not happy and started making that grinding sound every time I turned the pedal. Pops lend me some WhiteLitning for the second stage and we crossed those two rivers again, this time it did not make the same sound, was pretty smooth sailing, so I'm sold on it now.

White lightening is going to be a little scare for a while to come. The factory has burnt down.

Im using the Rock 'n roll lube. I started on the road (red) one and was impressed. It has a alcohol property in it aswell so cleans and lubes the chain at the same time.

The also have a Mtb specific to dry and dusty conditions (Extreme) and a Mtb specific for wetter conditions (gold).

Personally i am using the gold on the mtb and extreme on the road, just incase i get caught in the rain...it lasts longer.

those chains that have a special link to remove the chain like shimano then i soak the chain in white lightning. But with campy u cant do that. U have to use one of those tools to remove chain.

Not quite sure that you wrote what you meant to say.  Shimano does not have an easy remove option.  You need a chaintool to remove the chain which is a pain in the arse.  You can do the same with Campy chains but you need to replace the pin.  Best options for any chain is a quick link from Wipperman' date=' SRAM, KNC, and all chains are removeable with a simple bend and twist.

thats what i meant the quick link, didnt know its name, but im told not on Campy. This was told to me by a very accomplished cyclist and canoeist, in the top of his game. He rescued my daughter after 10km of her argus this year, her chain broke, gave her his chain so she could carried on. he was doing his second round when she phoned him. didnt know how to make her way back to green point.
