Since there are a few of us (brave and very fit and maybe not so bright) Hubbers doing IronMan this year... on request let's get together at the race brief on the Friday evening (8 April). Then we can sit at the same table and enjoy the free pasta on offer :)

 

The idea is to meet at the entrance 15minutes before race briefing, and to move from there.

 

Let me know your thoughts - and who is all keen... :thumbup:

don't think I fall into either of the categories above (brave, very fit or bright), but I'd like to join in! all depends on my transport arrangements!!!

how safe is that pasta been told to stay away from mass produced food this week :unsure:

 

I'm sure they'll make good stuff... can't imagine them feeding 1000+ people and then we can't do IM coz we have the shizz... but then again...

happened in 07/08 , tissink and a couple of other athletes had diarhea...

I ussually take the more plain pastas and not lasagnes with cheese and othe stuff.

yeah im just kidding, however a few years back i was about to make my provincial debut for a rugby match in a friendly game and we had to meet before and have lunch and half way thru game started feeling horrible and i thought dam im so unfit but carried on and on monday nobody trained as they had given us off chicken pasta.. So i will eat my own pasta at home on Friday
