Forks/shocks

On the topic of having ones forks serviced at a lbs or doing it yourself, with a bit of spanner knowledge, how really hard is it for one to service ones shocks, and secondly, where would one go and buy all the parts? also , what oil does one use, or would that vary from what type and size shockj one has.

Would be really interested in the feedback as i am blessed that i can service my bike completely , bar the shocks and bleeding of the breaks which i will also get into later. Its a great feeling when you can do things on your own in your own time.

Hi Michael. Why don't you attend one of JB's fork workshops? I'm sure you will also then get info to where you can buy your parts, oils etc. Check out www.yellowsaddle.co.za
