Have you got a gripe with mountain biking ?

na, just teasing Mackie cause he lives in Natal with some realy beautifull riding, and since I am in the cape and unlikely to go on holiday there I am unlikely to enjoy all the trails he has.

In that case a dislike his opinion too.

Don't mind me, I'm a just a roadie racist, only kidding. Enjoy your riding and find a group to join, always better. When you see the light, and get a real bike and you in KZN, we have great trails and the beer is cold,

Who do you ride with and who are you likely to ride with in the future?

MTB, as the name suggests (Multi Terrain Bike), is more versatile but if you're going to be predominantly road you want every vantage to keep up... :)

Since you're going road with a goal to the 94.7 get the road bike now and save up for the MTB... no rule says that you can't do both...

If you're in Alberton and want to hook up with a group there is one that leaves cnr swartkoppies and kliprivier every sat. Ride starts 7am, you need not belong to a club and is marshalled.

Mav, just a word of warning on riding in the Alberton Area.

There have been incidents of bike jacking especially closer to Thokoza and on the Rand Water road. Please make sure you ride with someone when riding these areas.
