Hi Hubbers,

Can anyone suggest a good road in Centurion and surrounding areas that you can do a +-20min time trial on?

I have been using the highway to Harties, but this is becoming more and more dangerous and I cant seem to find an alternative.

Thanks

Spinnerman.

The best road I found was Lynnwood or Atterbury. No stops, constant drag (Going East) and the traffic is not bad if you ride early.

Good luck!

Try Botha Avenue. If you go from the foutains to the botha avenue onramp on the N1. Gives you a lekke drag after eeufees and its also got a broad shoulder. VERY SAFE

Botha too short between traffic lights. OK for shorter intervals of 5-8 min. My standard TT road was the Boschkop road, but that's not close to Centurion.

The Boschkop road is nice - 45km from my house to the T junction just after the train bridge and back! In fact I did it this afternoon in 1:18.
