Looking at replacing my stolen AXN 700 Polar HR watch. The service from Polar is great, like the Suunto design, riding with a Garmin so only loking for a HR Watch for running and spinnig. Anybody had a service experience with Suunto, general comments also welcome.

Have used Suunto and Polar, and much prefer the former. Suunto's look better, are smaller and work reliably and well. Have also had good after sales service from them.

Suunto Service Experience - I have received the best service experience on this product. Purchased a faulty unit - handed it back at the Ironman expo. Chris called me daily - sometimes more than once. Keeping me up to date on the progress of my unit.

 

Suunto's Distributors Management got involved on my return back to Gauteng - Just received my new Suunto by courier this morning. One week later. WOW.

 

Even the before purchase experience at the expo was exceptional, with the guys giving me a huge chunk of their time to explain the product.
