so this week on Supercycling Gerald and Andrew will rave about the 26" bikes and forget what they said 2weeks ago

yes really when you can take your max HR 5-8 beats higher that means the motor is revving a bit more which means you have the capacity to get fitter ie a higher level of fitness especially when you can recover easily to normal levels..

 

I struggle to fathom how a bike can make you fitter, would you not get the same result if you changed your gearing on a 26' ?

It seems you need to do a proper HRmax test!
