robmac Posted April 20, 2011 Share Hi, Giant and Dragon have had some bad press on the hub recently so thought I would share my most recent experience with them. Cracked my 2010 anthem frame on the weekend. Took it to LBS (WeBike) on Monday morning. LBS stripped the frame.Dragon fetched it Monday afternoon.Tuesday morning replacement was authorised - i was called to decide between two different colour options.Tuesday afternoon my new 2011 frame was dropped off my Dragon at the LBS.They are building it as we speak and I will be riding this afternoon. robmac Posted April 20, 2011 Share The top tube cracked where in joins the seat post.Not uncommon on Anthems, paticularly large and XL where the seatpost is extended.Google will show several people have had issues with frames cracking here. Had the same crack on my giant Reign...... was not lucky enough to get a new frame due to some small print.... But it seams the mystro design is mechanicaly flawed in that region - meaning that the only cracks I heard of (about 5) is all in that same spot......
