Mounting cateye speed sensor to a 'Lefty' fork??

Anyone mounted a cateye speed sensor to a Cannondale Lefty fork?

 

Please help with suggestions?

Last computer I had on a Lefty-shod bike had the sensor on the rear wheel.

You get this adapter to mount on the lower part of the fork:

I used one for a while before I installed the Garmin 500 sensor on port chainstay

Use the rear wheel... I do... or run your garmin off the satelite.

Thanks, Ive tried the rear wheel but no luck.

 

The manual says that 70cm is the max distance that that can be accomodated.

 

I have measure from headset to sensor on the bike and it is 80cm.

There is a kit with the a wire long enough to mount in to the stay.

i made my own mount that goes from the lower part of the fork over the disk and lets you mount your sensor there > will post a pic later, but alot like the adapter in that link... works a charm
