  3. Hey Madmarc, I designed and developed the SwayRocker system. I am in the process of developing an upgrade for this. its a bit challenging, but hopefully I can have a solution soon - so ill keep you updated on this...seems a few peope are keen to see something similar. Our system uses any standard old dumbell weight, which mounts inside of a routered 'pocket' under the deck to make sure the top is clean and not cluttered. There is space for 2 weights, so you can mount up to 5kg (2x 2.5kg) in order to balance things out. They are also adjustable, so you can really fine tune this to suit your specific trainer setup and balance point.
  4. CAAD 9 Pending.........
  5. Thought id share some Aluminati love. My CAAD4. 1x Build

  7. Anybody have a small SCOTT Decal lying about/know where i could get one? +-3cm or so 'tall' . I am respraying an old scott frame, and would like to preserve a small portion of the existing paintwork, and integrate the logo while at it.
  8. isnt that the old paris?
  9. deraileur is needed aswell i think...the pull ratio and stuff changes in my understanding so wouldnt work with a 9 spd der... not sure though
  10. only if the design isnt corny and cliche...needs to be something catchy or clever/intresting ...
  11. we tried it on an xc bike last year sometime at my LBS, and it screws up the handling, because the contact point on the ground is wrong. theres like a sweet spot where you get the right type of rotation, which the bigger wheel negates. hard to explain though. looks like a DH bike, all big infront and all
  12. took mine out today lunchtime at groenies!! awsome stuff...just somehow managed to kiss the single track coming off around a fast corner haha...good times...hope you get your bike soon man
  13. i made my own mount that goes from the lower part of the fork over the disk and lets you mount your sensor there > will post a pic later, but alot like the adapter in that link... works a charm
  14. damn what a vid...love the editing!! keep it up, brilliant stuff
  15. well i bought mine without even a test ride...had to get it on backorder and waited almost a month and a half to get it. but was well worth it, and definately feels better than the specialise comp 29er i testrode. and it looks awesome haha...get everyone looking at you whereever you go!!
  16. lefty is like the shizz!!! weight just under 11 kgs, with tubeless conv... do have elix cr brakes on though so slightly lighter there.
  17. driver did nothing wrong there...cant expect them to see evry little move you make and move over whenever we expect them to.
  18. just got mine a week ago...went for one ride so far, but the bike is like AMAZING!!! really nice, have elixir crs on not the rs, but shifting etc is awesome and the ride is super plush , stiff, but gets you through the rough stuff beautifully (some special design feature). havnt tried too much single track as of yet, but the little i did felt just like my old bike, and it climbs like a beast. handlebars should be slightly wider, but its not too much fuss (barely feel it) but overall its an awesome bike. best alu frame around IMHO cheers . hope you find a lekka one
  19. Decided recently to shift my focus over to MTB'ing....use to be an exclisive roadie only guy, but seems varsity has made me reconsider the fun part of riding. getting in my flash 29er 1 (alu) this week yes, pointless rant, but what the heck. get the popcorn out and see what the 29er vs 26er guys come up with ....AGAIN... ready...get set....GOOO!!!
  20. awesome innovation though...would like to see more chainless concepts in future...cause IMHO chains are stupid > wear so badly and need alot of maintenance
  21. what happens if you puncture? ...seems a bit rough to get the rear wheel out ?
  22. I have a pair of the white ones....dont know about price etc > got them sponsored by asg last year, but so far they are the most amazing shoes ever. PROS: super stiff soles, dont know how much stiffer they get, they wear well > if you wash them evry now and again (white parts actually stay white even through rain and mud etc). quality materials are used so nothing has broken or ripped so far, and ive ridden them for many many maaaany hours already (atleast like 20 hours a week training and racing) all in all awsome shoes, and definately comparable to the more expensive ergos as the strap and ratchet design works perfect on the lasers + the sole cant really get much stiffer. Con: take about a week or two to get used to the shape and sole stiffness > meaning : a few hours of aching super paining feet , cramping toes and stuff haha...but maby thats just me. hope you get a pair, awesome shoes, look awsome aswell!!
  23. thats like identical to the old red, just 2 parts have been made black...hmmm,weird,the old charcoal grey was cool enough....brakes look awsome though
  24. awesome stuff guys!!
  25. thanks christie
