Just did my 1st off road ride at joburg botanical gardens.. Was awesome! Did 8.23 km.

Congrats! :clap: Be warned though it's seriously addictive :rolleyes:

It was awesome.. Rained and did a bit in the rain abd then the mud..

 

Ag sweet ....you can get some lekker tyres to kick up some more mud, I remember the hours spent after each ride cleaning my bike spotless and shiny

 

when the bug bites it bites much harder than golf and costs a lot more, :thumbup: :thumbup:

Speaking if cleaning... How am i suppose to clean it? Especially the chain etc?

I agree I was a golf nut even buit my own putting green in the garden, was a 6 handicap but then the bike bug bit and now thats all I do think I have played golf three time this year and my handicap has gone up to a 9. Got three bikes two mountain bikes and a road probably worth over R100 000.

Speaking if cleaning... How am i suppose to clean it? Especially the chain etc?

 

You'll hear many differing opinions on bike cleaning, for the chain get a powerlink put on and then you can remove the chain say every 5 rides put it in a plastic bottle and shake it in some diesel/or other oil based like turps stay away from petrol and thinners

 

this will save loads of time then dont forget to lube that topic can be as hot asthe 26 vs 29 topic

you could also try cleaning it like this...
