Why is this Site so SLOWWWW!!!

Is it just me or is thehubsa very slow when opening pages? Ive tried IE8/9, Firefox, Safari and its still so slow compared to other internationally hosted websites.

On average it takes approximately 8 seconds to open a new page compared to 2 seconds for any other website

It seems normal to me.

 

Internet traffic passes through many routes to reach a server - yours is probably going via a rubbish server at the moment.

 

Run tracert if you know how - it will tell you which server is causing the lag.

how to run tracert

 

start, run, cmd

type "tracert www.thehubsa.co.za"

 

it will give you the latency to each server - where the latency increases dramatically or gives a * (a timeout) there lies the problem. Ten to one its not the hub's server but one inbetween.

Hi guys, it has been running slow intermittently today. I'll have a look at the server this evening.

Me too, its really irritating, 8 secs....I can live with that, earlier today it took nearly 4 minutes.....I am retired so I have time to wait :) , but Phew..its trying my patience.
