Need ideas for how to sell my bike in another country...

I have a 2007 Orbea Ora TT bike that I've been trying to sell in the US, with no luck thus far (I have been getting offers, but mainly they're laughable).

So was wondering if anyone had some ideas of what I should do or the best way to go about getting rid of it?

Options I've been considering is:

1. Break it down and sell the parts.

2. Take one of the ridiculously low offers.

3. Have a family member/friend bring the bike to SA and either use it or try to sell it here.

Here's the a pic of the bike:

Brakes: Shimano Dura Ace

Brake Levers: Profile Design QSC

Tires: Michelin Pro 2 Race 700 x 23

Any ideas would be great! :)

Craigs List?

I was over there working on the east coast for a couple of months. Put my bike on Craigs List at about 8pm, by next day I had about 20 odd replies. Sold in cash the next day for the amount I advertised for.

However it was already second hand and I was not asking for a lot, just trying to get some cash in hand for my trip west to vegas and LA.

where in the US are you? Im in Vail, CO, and find that craigslist is the best place to sell stuff. I have also bought a lot of stuff from there. Not many bike shops are willing to sell your bike for you but there are some shops that will.
