Hi.

 

 

Do you stay in JHB? Have you taken your dog for a walk at Walkhaven? I'm looking for a place similar to walkhaven except that it has trails to ride instead of thrails to walk your dog. My problem is that my girlfriend does not ride but wants to join me as she likes the outdoors aswell. I'm looking for a place where she can safely chill while I'm riding. Almost like walkhaven.

Rietvlei in the south of jhb

Groenkloof in PTA, good for a picnic or braai

Van Gaalen, near hartebeespoort dam, bit of a drive but awesome riding and its at a cheese farm with a restaurant which will be nice for the girlfriend.

Are you sure that you are allowed to take dogs to those venues?

The place that I'm refering to is a place where people go to walk their dogs in or near muldersdrift. There is a bar, resturant and lots of people so its safe. I do some bass fishing there and its safe for us to walk around and fish without worrying about whats in the bushes. Im looking for similar places but with trails, so I can go ride while my girlfriend reads and I dont have to worry about her while I am riding.

Ik fiets vooral op de weg, uitzonderlijk (SabieXperience, Joberg2C) op de mtbike.

 

Teak Place is heel aangenaam, er is veel te doen voor de familie terwijl jij aan het fietsen bent.

 

Ik moet nog eens to Walk Haven geraken, maar Emmerentia en Alberts Farm zijn dichtbij.

- The Spruit (Emmarentia - Paulshof) This is close to you!! Start at the bridge off Witkoppen where you go down from Paulshof – a guide is recommended though as you need to cross Will Nicol to continue to Emmerentia.

That's a good idea - he can ride to Alberts and back or up the Spruit. Cos Emmerentia is pretty small and often very busy.

We went to teaks place today and it was AWSOME!! I got a bit lost on the green trail as they have not fixed the markers after the fire but I had fun going the wrong way up some of the trails... My girlfriend got a lot of work done chilling at the resturant. Two thumbs up!!
