AndreZA Posted August 4, 2011 Share Here, http://www.takealot.com/imports/usa On the right is a "request a quote" link. Send them the link. It does take a month to come in but you don't pay anything more then what they quote you. No Vat, no duties, delivered to your door. Everything in included in the quote. Takealot uses Amazon, not Ebay. But maybe they can still help you. Edited August 4, 2011 by AndreZA
Disylizzy Posted August 4, 2011 Share You can also get estimates of shipping costs from both FedEx and UPS. It's not pretty, so your best bet may be to use the takealot site mentioned above.
Bike Mob Posted August 4, 2011 Share USPS has parcel size restrictions so if it's a full bike they probably wont ship it.

HeartCoppi Posted August 6, 2011 Share Could someone that has purchased a bike from the states on ebay recently advise. What means you used to ship it.Does UPS or Fedex ship and cost.Any help will be appreciated. If you are specifically using fleabay, you must know that:The seller will have noted that he/she is prepared to ship internationally without exclusions.Secondly the seller will have indicated the shipping price, that you must pay. This costing includes packaging material and time. The shipper will often prescribe that high value goods are tracked and insured. So I am not sure why you ask this question. The only reason you could need to arrange transport; is if you have had a purchase delivered to a contact within the States. You would however not have asked the question with this wording? If you do need to get a whole bike out of the states, get ready to pay a whole lot, especially if you intend to use an express courier like UPS, fedex or TNT. A whole lot!My advise is to get it onto a ship.
