Price wise:

Sram XX

Shimano XTR

Sram X0

Sram X9 = Shimano XT

Sram X7 = Shimano SLX

 

Durabitlity wise:

Sram X7 = Shimano SLX

Sram X9 = Shimano XT

The new XTR is up there with XX, and the new XT can easily be compared with X0. Don't be misled by pricing, cause the one is bought with Dollars and the other one with Yen.

I am new to all the technical topics of mtb and just doing it for recreation.

 

Where would shimano alivio fit in with regards to sram x3 and x5?
