Guest agteros Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I resent that! I'll be a tjop next year if(when) I get the TT bike
banna Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Aren't all roadies automatically classified as tjops?
Tumbleweed Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I'll be a tjop next year if(when) I get the TT bike Oooooooh, which one you getting?
Guest agteros Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Oooooooh, which one you getting?Dunno yet, partial to the Slice but budget might dictate something else...
Big H* Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Your a tjop when you have not removed the white and orange reflectors in the spokes, the spoke protector, the flat pedals with reflectors, wear a "helmut" that is 2 sizes too big the wrong way round and still have your underwear on while wearing your white cycling pants How could you forget the disk breaks!
bontie Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) When your BMI/weight of your bike > 3,5 for road or > 4 for MTB and you wear XXL Assos kit (and only Assos kit) aka - MAMILs or when your deep section carbon wheels never make that "whoosh"ing sound... Tumbleweed Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Dunno yet, partial to the Slice but budget might dictate something else... Nice. We just got a nice Merida in the shop. Although I would most probably never ride, it'd look good in the bike room! Now there's a tjop thing to say!

(Deon) Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) BMW M series tjop! HA HA, the best part is the Tjop rider will be on PINK wheels when they start spinning, thereby reinforcing his Tjop status! Edited September 6, 2011 by Pain or Shine
Tumbleweed Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 You only have one bike room? The is THE bike room, and then there's the spare bike.
(Deon) Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Don't think he has a bike, but does it matter?
banna Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Don't think he has a bike, but does it matter? Maybe Morewood or someone could introduce a Malema inspired model to their range? We could call it the Morewood Moron?

Actually.. he might not need a bike now but... has he been chucked from YL yet? He could launch the Morewood Tjopper himself and then ride it home! Thanks for the inspiration banna! The expat cyclist Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 My definition of a tjop in cycling terms: Last year at the D&D race, this tjops arrives with his s-works in the front seat of his BMW328 cabriolet. Now that is a bit much.
Caerus Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 But my bike makes me feel like a winner... in fact my mom used to tell me that everyone is a winner! She also told me I'm rad! Your mom was lying
